Schuberth C5 Review

Check out the video above to see infinity tom's thoughts on this brand-new flip-up helmet . carbon The Schuberth c5 is the brand-new flagship helmet from the german helmet manufacturer, and is set to be released next year. The c5 is not just a redesign and evolution of the c4 pro, instead, this is a total design revolution. The c5 is the first flip-up motorcycle helmet that has been certified for the new ece 22. 06 – meaning that it has taken on board all the new additions for safety and protection that this updated certification has introduced to deliver the best protective helmet that schuberth can.

The pioneers of the flip-front helmet are back with a new addition to their iconic c-range, and it’s the most advanced yet. Renowned for crafting some of the most protective, comfortable, quiet and all round practical helmets on this planet, Schuberth have pushed the envelope once again with the all-new c5. Adhering to the new far more stringent ece-r 22. 06 certification, the c5 is also the first Schuberth helmet with p/j homologation - in short, it is certified as both a full-face and open-face, meaning you can ride with the chin bar raised and enjoy all of the benefits of an open-faced helmet without a worry.

Custom fitting the Schuberth C5 with Schuberth Individual

Schuberth c5 review sets a new benchmark in terms of comfort. The standard head pad has been developed to offer uncompromised comfort to all our customers, but those with “extreme head shapes” are usually forced to compromise with fit and sizes. For Schuberth compromise is not an option so with the c5 we introduce the “individual concept”. A specific program aimed to ensure the maximum comfort to the rider giving the option to customize the internal padding with more thickness options for sides, back and cheek pads. ( head pad customization available for sizes m/l/xl).

The all-new Schuberth c5 motorcycle touring helmet this feature-packed helmet has been designed from the ground up and shares no parts with its predecessor.

With 2206 & p/j homologation, a 5 year warranty (when you register online), pinlock 120, pre-installed hd speakers and antenna ready for the optional sena 50 sc2 intercom system, custom interior fitting, new ventilation system, class 1 optics and extremely low noise levels this is the perfect touring lid!.

Is the Schuberth C5 a quiet modular helmet?

The Schuberth c5 features an intricately designed multi-channel ventilation system inside the helmet shell, resulting in extraordinarily quiet, substantial airflow. Inlets in the forehead and chin area ensure that you keep a cool head.

The schuberth c5 helmet is the newest "c" helmet that continues to blend saftey, superior aerodynamics and a light design. The unmistakable german engineering and radical, compact shell design of the schuberth c5 set a new standard for premium modular touring helmets.

Featuring a new liner and the same 2 shell sizes (xs-lg, xl-3xl), the lean form of the schuberth c5 helmet has been extensively optimized for both stability at speed and low weight to minimize fatigue on long tours. Discover a riding experience similar to sitting in the cabin of a luxury german sports car. The schuberth c5 helmet is designed for riders who accept only the best, and can appreciate the difference.

The german reference brand schuberth presents its new modular motorcycle helmet approved with sunscreen and built in fiber and carbon, the c5 eclipse. Discover our wide selection of schuberth flip up helmets in our dedicated category.

Recognized for the quality of its helmets and its inovantion, the german brand is developing its number one helmet and is offering the first modular helmet on the market with the new ce ece 22. 06 approval that will soon come into force, which obliges helmet manufacturers to offer even more protective helmets for the road or the circuit. For 2022, the german manufacturer is offering the schuberth c5 eclipse modular helmet, which now has the dual jet and full-face approval that was missing on the c4 and c4 pro.

Schuberth C5 memory function visor

There is a new ventilation system: the schuberth c5's new ventilation system is designed to combine maximum ventilation with low noise, thanks to the double chin air inlet and the multi-channel system inside the eps, as well as a new rear spoiler that facilitates the extraction of air.

The visor offers wider field of view, even when adopting a sports riding position, and has a visor mechanism with patented "memory function" for the last position. A high-grade pinlock 120 is included. And you can add a plug-n-play sena bluetooth intercom kit that fits seamlessly into the prepared helmet (sena sc2).

Schuberth SC2 communication system

I'm making a guess nobody here owns a c5 yet. Very recent release. I've never tried a schuberth helmet but we are in the market for either the c5 or the neo ii. So just a few thoughts and a question or two. I believe c4 and c5 helmets come with headset speakers installed.

I would definitely be running the hd branded sena system with different speakers. Does anyone know if the schuberth helmets can have speakers removed in favor of a different setup? has anyone actually seen a c5 yet? i'm familiar with the shoei brand (and quality) as we currently use the j-cruise in 5+ year old models (not the 'ii').

The schuberth c5 eclips motorcycle helmet belongs to one of the first system helmets that the stricter ece 22. 06 standard manages to pass in the field of safety. A high-end motorcycle helmet from german makelag focused on the professional and adventurously set motorcyclist.

Fully redeveloped with feedback from the loyal schuberth riders and many thousands of test kilometers. The helmet scale is made up of a fiber optic / carbon mix and again designed for optimum performance. The collar and kinflap ensure excellent closing around the opening. Thanks to the schuberth universal concept, the helmet is adaptable to the shape of the head and adjusts most riders.
